Zhenya Lee is a movement and interdisciplinary artist from Kazakhstan whose practice explores how movement and visual storytelling, instrumental music and digital worlds can create experiences of emotional connection and wonder. Zhenya’s art seeks to celebrate human liveliness and emotion.

Being involved in dance and photography from an early age, her passion developed into a way of passing a message through movement and cinematography. Zhenya’s first recognitions in the field were the result of her genuine love for dance and her sincere emotions while performing, which she till this day implies whenever she gets to create.

Her works are emotions that can be experienced in the form of dance, cinematic visuals and human energy. Her artistic practice is aimed to bring light to the soul of the audience and build communities with movement-based experiences.

Zhenya has been aknowledged as a member of new generation of world-class choreographers called Rising Stage in 2025 by Fair Play Dance Camp, Poland. She has been invited to work in Poland, Russia, Central Asian countries to educate, share her unique vision and experitise.
